Brazil Silk Toffee
Silk Toffee is our go-to for when you’re done with that bitter, generic stuff from the supermarket. We selected this lot from Fazenda Salto because it does exactly what a great Brazilian coffee should: it offers pure comfort. You’ll taste a clear base of milk chocolate and caramel, with a surprisingly fresh hint of raspberry. The Araujo Reis family has managed this estate for generations with a massive focus on education for the children of their staff.
This coffee is processed using the ‘Natural’ method. This means the coffee cherry is dried whole in the sun. The bean absorbs all the natural sugars from the fruit as it dries, resulting in a full body and extra sweetness. It is a process that also uses significantly less water than other methods.
Fazenda Salto runs on 80% solar energy and follows strict water recycling protocols. The result is a buttery-smooth espresso or filter coffee that performs consistently every morning. No complicated fuss, just really good coffee you can feel great about drinking.
